Dreams Self Belief and Faith

 

I have a true story to tell from a famous book called “The Secret” it is different to my normal blogs but after reading this it touched my heart as it should yours. I felt no one should ever have anything to complain about.  It starts below

It is a story  that will stop your negative thought's and comments about your life, or problems of; money, employment, your state of health or anything that makes you feel bad.  The reason we have these problems is caused by the lack of faith, trust and forgiveness to each other and any person we meet or know.  Remember what you put out into the universe comes back 10 fold!

We all have problems and worries but they are still only excuses, remember when you where a child You cried when you fell over learning to walk but you got up and tried again? Well when we grow up we lose this determination it is called life. 

I am an instrument of this myself with many visits to the hospital from a very young age, but I always decided  to move forward thus aiding recovery at an alarming rate.  As time moves forward and life takes over we lose sight of our true purpose and that is to be positive, grateful and happy for what we are and have and not to feel a failure or using anything to take the easy route of excuses.

I have read many great books on having a Positive Attitude, I have failed more times than i can think in life but the books make a difference, allowing me to put the past behind for ever; even at my tender age of a young 64 I am still learning as we all should be “moving forward”  Something to think about!  Growing and learning is a life time commitment of experience.

 

The yellow brick road is paved with GOLD but you have to open the positive door in your mind and take the first step.

His story began in March 1981 The day changed his life and one he will never forget.  Crashing his aeroplane he ended up in hospital totally paralysed, spinal cord crushed, broken first and second cervical vertebrae, his swallowing  reflex destroyed.  He could not breath eat or drink, only blink his eyes.  Doctors in their wisdom decided hew would be a vegetable all his life. All he would be ale to do is blink.  That is how they saw him, but it did not matter what they thought.  The main thing was picturing himself being a normal person again walking out of the hospital.  (for many of us we would have given up)

The only thing he had to work with in the hospital was his mind and once you have your mind, you can pout things back together again.

He was hooked to a respirator  and he was told he would not breath on his own again because his diaphragm  was destroyed.  BUT a little voice kept saying to him “Breath deeply, breath deeply” and finally he was taken of the life support machine, of course the medial profession where at a loss and could not explain it.  He could not afford to allow anything to come into his mind that would distract him from his goal and his vision.

He had set a goal to walk out of the hospital at Christmas and he did.  He walked out of the hospital on his own two feet.  They said it could never be done, that was the day he would never forget.

 

For people who are sitting out there right now and are hurting, If he wanted to sum up his life and sum up for people, what they can do in life He said in six words “Man becomes what he thinks about”
